Dynamic Shop:

The shop area of the website that is directly linked to the Abacus EPOS database.

All content is supplied and forwarded from the in house database.

The online database can only be administered through the Abacus system.

Static Pages:

Created by Abacus on a one of basis.

Not administerable by the client.

Limited set of content depending on the page.

Dynamic Pages:

·        Created By the Client through the Content Management System: (CMS)

·        Unlimited amount of content available – depending on website file size and bandwidth restrictions.

Home Page:

The Home page will be the first page that the website launches one a user has typed in your domain name.

The homepage can be set to your requirements. E.g. News, Shop, galleries etc.

Contact Page:

The Contact page will contain your contact information including; address, phone numbers, e-mail addresses.

The page will also contain an enquiry form, enabling the website user to contact you from the site rather than using e-mail.

The enquiry form will contain the following fields; name, e-mail address, telephone number, mailing address and enquiry notes.

The user will have to fill in at least name and e-mail address fields in order for the enquiry to be forwarded.

Gallery Page:

This page can be used to display a selection of images that you may require to promote your shop.

The static version will be limited to 20 images.

The dynamic version is unlimited.

Services:

The services page can include the range of services that you offer. Pricing tables etc.

The static version can not be updated by the customer.

The dynamic version will be updated by the customer.

News:

The news page can be used to inform your clients of news regarding the company, local information and industry news as a whole.

The static version can not be updated by the customer.

The dynamic version will be updated by the customer.

Trail Maps:

The Trail maps are excellent way to give value added service to your clients.

Clients can request their required trail map by form of an enquiry from the website and their details can then be used for marketing purposes.

Quiz / Competition:

The Quiz page is a good method of achieving repeat visits from your clients.

The page is a good method to keep your site visitors coming back whilst at the same time capturing their details for future marketing.

FAQ:

·        This section is designed for you to answer any question that your clients may have.

·        Your clients can submit questions using an online form.

Links:

The links page can be used to promote your suppliers’ and relevant websites.

The page can contain Images and Brief description of the link.

The static version can not be updated by the customer.

The dynamic version will be updated by the customer.

Promotional Product Ticker:

The Promotional Product ticker is linked to the Abacus database.

If the products in the Abacus database have a promotional price attached, the Promotional ticker will recognise this and display the product on the ticker.

You are able to set a time frame for the ticker to be active and the ticker will recognise the dates. When the offer expires it will be removed from the ticker.

HTML E-mail editor:

Accessed through the CMS.

The HTML e-mail editor can be used to market your website and business.

It consists of a branded template with the same look and feels as your website.

You are able to insert text and images within the template to promote your products and services.

Can either be linked with the Contact Database or used separately. If the editor is used separately, the user will have to manually enter all the e-mail addresses, whereas if used in conjunction with the contact database, the editor will automatically send the e-mail to the contacts who have subscribed to the service.

Client Contact Database:

Accessed through the CMS.

The client contact database can be used for marketing purposes.

Existing data can be imported and used within the database.

Name, Phone number, mailing address and E-mail address details can be stored.

Client Account Login:

Enables client to login to the website and check their account for orders they have made, orders pending and process new orders etc.

Linked to the Client Contact Database.

Level 1 Billing:

The website generates an enquiry sent via a form to a pre-determined e-mail address with the website user’s desired products.

The enquiry contains the product they require, their contact details, but does not contain any billing information.

It will be up to the site owner to contact the client manually and process the order.

Level 2 Billing:

The website generates an enquiry sent via a secure ordering process.

The website user is taken to a secure area of the site where they are able to submit their details and billing information.

The secure area then sends an encrypted e-mail to a predetermined e-mail address containing a hyperlink.

Uses a Secure Socket Layer to encrypt the information.

128 Bit encryption technology is used.

Once the hyperlink has been followed, the client will be prompted for a predetermined password and upon successful login will be able to see the website user’s requirements and billing information.

The client will then be able to process the order using their PDQ machines.

Subject only to your existing bank charges and commissions.

Level 3 Billing:

Fully automated billing system

Payments are taken from the website user’s credit/debit card by an approved billing partner.

Billing partner sends out a order e-mail to a predetermined e-mail address.

Payment for the product is then forwarded by billing partner.

Subject to high commissions from billing partner.

Website hosting, website statistics, e-mail virus scanning, spam filtering:

Hosting on Sequel Server Space to ensure reliability and scaleability.

1 gigabyte of data transfer per month, can be increased and required.

Stats package to show site usage, referrals etc.

Virus scanning to ensure no malicious e-mail are received through the domain.

Spam filtering to minimised unsolicited e-mails.
